OUR FUTURE

Bridget Center has many irons in the fire. A big piece of this project has been creating the big to-do list, then prioritizing the steps we need to take in order to co-create this nourishing environment of connection. Here are some of the big capital campaigns that will bring our Vision into reality:

  • Fundraising for operational and renovation costs

  • New roof on the chapel building

  • Septic system and water well installation

  • Renovation of schoolhouse into “Bridget Guesthouse”, which will offer lodging, a community kitchen, and for the first time on site, plumbing! All the comforts of home.

We have a few smaller projects that we’re also working on in the meantime. Here’s what to expect this year, 2026:

  • Timber Frame Roadside Welcome Sign

  • ADA ramp and deck for the chapel building

  • Pond installation

  • Continued land stewardship in Bridget’s Gardens

Here are just a few of the ideas we plan to see in a few years:

  • Chapel building renovations

  • Construction of a small greenhouse/woodworking shop building using natural building materials

  • Construction of small off-grid caretaker’s cabin using natural building materials

  • Construction of a larger garage/greenhouse building using natural building materials

  • Practitioner spaces

  • Community Gardens and Apothecary

  • Small plant nursery and seed exchange

  • A wide variety of educational and event programming
