We all benefit from having clean and healthy rivers. That's why we're coming together as a community to plan, design, and build projects that will keep our stretch of the Milwaukee River beautiful and livable for generations to come. Bridget Center is the fiscal agent and co-sponsor of Kewaskum's Mighty River Project focused on shoreline restoration and community education of the valued freshwater resource Kewaskum was founded on. The Kewaskum High School H.O.P.E. Club (HelpOurPlanetEarth) along with Bridget Center anticipate a grant to support Riveredge Nature Center education services with this project.
Please visit this location on or after December 15, 2018 for information and a link to the new GoFundMe Capitol Campaign to fund our community projects. Governed by Sociocracy Circles, Nonviolent Communication is practiced here to grow compassion.
Generous donors have given over $136,000 to acquire and maintain St. Bridget Chapel/School with 3.25 acres in recent years. Since September 2017, $21,550 has been raised for a downpayment of the roof. These collected funds are not reflected in the capital campaign request. Mission driven, donor supported.
